The Challenge of Improving EV Sales

In 2011, an important national priority was declared: Put 1 million electric vehicles on the road by 2015. Since then, U.S. car dealers have sold a little more than 250,000 electric vehicles since they were introduced in 2010. This sets the background for an analysis of factors that impact the spread and overall consumer adoption of electric vehicles.
