Since each design is unique, it is inevitable that there will be some information that varies depending on the prod- uct. Designers and product engineers will often place special requirements on individual flex circuit designs. The key takeaway here is that the documentation package should be as com- plete as possible to ensure, to the highest degree possible, that the product will be right the first time. Once again repeated here for emphasis, the documentation pack- age provided to the fabricator is the primary means of communication, and its clarity and completeness will prevent confusion, loss of irrecoverable time, and unnecessary expense.
