DFMStream Version 11
DFMstream 11.0 introduces over 70 additional
DFM analysis checks to support both the PCB fab-
rication and assembly processes. The analysis ex-
pansion was designed to satisfy requirements for
advanced vias, back drilling, fine pitch sMD com-
ponents, tighter tolerances for solder and paste
masks and other advanced technologies.

IPC-2581 Recognized
zuken's humair Mandavia and steve Watt have
been honored by iPC for their contribution to the
cross-industry iPC-2581 consortium. zuken was
the first eDA vendor consortium member to sup-
port iPC-2581.

Glenn Wells Has Died
glenn Wells, a PCB designer, instructor, and tireless
advocate for improving design education, died in
March. he recognized the need for getting PCB
design instruction into colleges and universities.
glenn once said that his goal was to make every
high school guidance counselor aware of the PCB
designer career.
