90 PCB007 MAGAZINE I FEBRUARY 2018 Field Application Engineer Saki America Inc., headquartered in Fremont, CA, a leader in automated inspection equip- ment, seeks two full-time Field Application En- gineers (FAE), one in the Fremont headquar- ters and the other for the Eastern and South- ern United States. The FAE will support the VP of Sales and Ser- vice for North America in equipment instal- lation, training, maintenance, and other ser- vices at field locations. The FAE will provide technical/customer support and maintain positive relationships with existing and future customers. Strong analytic abilities and problem-solv- ing skills are a must in order to understand customer applications and troubleshoot is- sues. The FAE will perform demos and pre- sentations for customers and agents as well as assisting in trade show activities. Candidate must have a minimum of a two-year technical degree, experience in AOI, SPI, and X-ray in- spection, and strong verbal and written com- munication skills. The position requires the ability to travel about three weeks per month. Must be a US citizen and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Career Opportunities Sales Administrator Purpose: To assist the Sales Department in entering and tracking customer orders, supporting sales and marketing functions, and growing Printed Cir- cuits customer base and sales. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities: • Provide point of contact for customers' quotes and orders • Enter purchase orders • Check orders for accuracy and completion • Resolve order errors and inaccuracies • Handle customer emails and phone calls • Track and expedite customer requests and inquiries • Work with customers to resolve outstanding questions and/or issues • Report on open orders • Keep customer contact database current • Work with Engineering and Quality Assurance to meet customer expectations • Complete other sales and/or marketing tasks as required Education and Experience: • At least 2 years of previous customer service center experience • Ability to work with Microsoft (MS) Office, with focus on demonstrated working knowledge of MS Excel and Word • Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the goal • Ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques to situations using sound business judgment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multi-task in an effective, timely and professional manner • Proven ability to apply attention to detail, role-related accuracy and task follow-through • Willingness to learn new software products such as ACT! • Bachelor's degree a plus
