Global SCARA Robotics Industry Sees High Demand

Since the creation of the first SCARA robot in the laboratory of Japan's Yamanashi University, the technology has been adopted to high-speed automated assembly applications around the world. The robot design--essentially a 4-axis automated robotic arm--has been at the heart of the mass production of small electronic products that have transformed the human world.
