NASA has announced that our next destina-
tion in the solar system is the unique, richly
organic world Titan. Advancing our search for
the building blocks of life, the Dragonfly mis-
sion will fly multiple sorties to sample and ex-
amine sites around Saturn's icy moon.

Additive manufacturing (AM), also known as
3D printing, is a promising new technology for
all areas of aviation manufacturing. Additive
manufacturing's flexibility in design and cus-
tomization, cost reduction, and speed in deliv-
ering finished parts make it a perfect fit for cre-
ating parts used in aviation contexts.

Building on years of collaboration, Raytheon
Company and Northrop Grumman Corpora-
tion have signed a teaming agreement to de-
velop, produce, and integrate Northrop Grum-
man's scramjet combustors to power Raythe-
on's air-breathing hypersonic weapons.
