JANUARY 2022 I PCB007 MAGAZINE 115 Career Opportunities IPC Instructor Longmont, CO; Phoenix, AZ; U.S.-based remote Independent contractor, possible full-time employment Job Description This position is responsible for delivering effective elec- tronics manufacturing training, including IPC Certification, to students from the electronics manufacturing industry. IPC instructors primarily train and certify operators, in- spectors, engineers, and other trainers to one of six IPC Certification Programs: IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA- A-620, IPC J-STD-001, IPC 7711/7721, and IPC-6012. IPC instructors will conduct training at one of our pub- lic training centers or will travel directly to the customer's facility. A candidate's close proximity to Longmont, CO, or Phoenix, AZ, is a plus. Several IPC Certification Courses can be taught remotely and require no travel. Qualifications Candidates must have a minimum of five years of elec- tronics manufacturing experience. This experience can include printed circuit board fabrication, circuit board as- sembly, and/or wire and cable harness assembly. Sol- dering experience of through-hole and/or surface-mount components is highly preferred. Candidate must have IPC training experience, either currently or in the past. A current and valid certified IPC trainer certificate holder is highly preferred. Plating Supervisor Escondido, California-based PCB fabricator U.S. Circuit is now hiring for the position of plating supervisor. Candidate must have a minimum of five years' experience working in a wet process environment. Must have good communication skills, bi- lingual is a plus. Must have work- ing knowledge of a plating lab and hands-on experience running an electrolytic plating line. Responsibil- ities include, but are not limited to, scheduling work, enforcing safety rules, scheduling/maintaining equip- ment and maintenance of records. Competitive benefits package.
