82 SMT007 MAGAZINE I SEPTEMBER 2023 Women's Leadership Program e Women's Leadership Program is a pop- ular, annually recurring event hosted dur- ing SMTA International. is year's event is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 9, at the Minneap- olis Convention Center and is free for all par- ticipants at SMTA International. e theme for this year's program is "Personal Branding: Creating an Authentic and Sustainable Per- ception." e program will start with three presenta- tions from women leaders in the electronics and medical industry. Each leader has charted a unique career journey that made her invalu- able in the organizations she leads. Since our 2023 program theme focuses on personal branding, we asked our speakers to share their experiences, learnings, and personal branding journeys in their presentations. e presentations will be followed by speed men- toring sessions, delving into the 5 C's: clarity, con- tent, connection, creativ- ity, and community. ese crucial aspects encompass all the important facets of personal branding, allow- ing attendees to effectively character ize and refine their own unique brand. A Connection Recep- tion social will conclude the Women's Leadership Program. is annual gath- ering provides a relaxed atmosphere to continue the conversations from the ear- lier segments of the WLP, fostering new and renewed connections across the SMTA community of orga- nizers, speakers, exhibitors and attendees.
