Tech Topic Webinars iNEMI regularly hosts webinars highlighting innovative new technologies and solutions. e topics are related to iNEMI's areas of foc- us and feature a broad range of guest speakers from within the electronics manufacturing supply chain. Recent "tech topics" covered in this series include: • Advanced packaging • Complex integrated systems • Smart manufacturing • Sustainable electronics/circularity Most of the Tech Topic Series webinars are open to industry and webinar recordings can be found on the iNEMI YouTube channel. Project Information iNEMI project participation is limited to members; however, project teams oen share highlights of findings and lessons learned with the industry. Information shared can include project reports or white papers, results from industry surveys, recommendations regard- ing best practices, and other project outputs. Much of this information is shared through webinars that are open to industry and also can be found on the iNEMI YouTube channel. Project teams present technical papers at con- ferences, and these are available online on the project information pages and in the Knowl- edge Base. If you have an online profile, be sure to indicate your technology areas of interest to ensure you receive notices of upcoming webi- nars and/or publications. iNEMI Roadmap e iNEMI Roadmap identifies future technology challenges, opportunities, and potential solution paths for the electronics manufacturing industry. It charts—over a 10-year horizon—the future evolution of elect- ronics manufacturing in terms of: • Application and market drivers • Technical needs • Maturity of technical solutions • Expected gaps and challenges e iNEMI Roadmap is now available in an online format and is free. We have recently published new content on the topics of board assembly and complex integrated systems, and have added a laminates section to the previ- ously published printed circuit board topic. Additional roadmap topics currently available are sustainable electronics and mmWave mate- rials and test. Get Involved e roadmap is created by sub- ject matter experts from multiple disciplines throughout the global electronics manufacturing value chain. ese contributors—from different companies, market seg- ments, and countries—provide a broad prospective to create a com- prehensive view of future technol- ogies. ey look not only at where the technology is going, but what it will take to get there and when specific capabilities must be in place to enable evolution. 18 SMT007 MAGAZINE I FEBRUARY 2025
