MARCH 2025 I DESIGN007 MAGAZINE 83 Career Opportunities Manufacturing Engineer— Printed Circuit Boards Compunetics is currently seeking an individual to take ownership of selected manufacturing processes and related process controls, work to strengthen existing controls and work instructions, and participate in engineering/quality activities. This role is located at our PCB manufacturing facilities in Monroeville, PA. Responsibilities • Introduce new controls as needed • Participate in engineering/quality activities • Assess/monitor equipment and human resources to meet production requirement • Select and make recommendations for new equipment •May require direct supervision of Technicians and Operators Qualifications • BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industral Engineering • 3-5 years' experience in a PCB manufacturing environment with involvement in and respons- ibility for process control, process improvement, and new process development is required • Experience with direct supervision of Junior Engineers, Technician or Operators preferred • Problem-solving/fail analyst, cost reduction, selection of new equipment, and personnel training required • Strong interpersonal and computer skills requird • Familiarity with SPC techniques and software, process control, and quality metrics is preferred **As a condition of employment, candidates MUST be a US Citizen. Sales Applications Engineer The Sales Applications Engineer is responsible for working with customers and managing inquiries to result in an accurate quote for business and ongoing customer support. The Sales Applications Engineer reports to the Application Engineering Manager. Essential Job Duties: • Interface with customers via direct contact, sales calls, email, and phone to determine need, provide design assistance and provide a quote for business • Management of programs from key customers from initial purchase order to end of life • Interface with customers regarding all aspects of a program • Serve as liaison with All Flex regarding customer issues related to a specific situation Qualifications: • Degree in engineering, math or science or equivalent work experience. • Prefer 5-8 years of product and/or manufacturing experience with flex circuits, flex heaters or circuit board industry • Knowledge and understanding of concepts, contents, and application of ISO 9000 helpful • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data entry. NetSuite experience preferred • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident We offer a competitive base salary in the $80,000 to $85,000 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with bonus and profit- sharing opportunities tied to performance.
