IPC COMMUNITY 8 SPRING 2025 Additionally, not only do we often learn about what companies are launching, but we also learn about the challenges we all face and how we can work to overcome them. Yes, there are technological challenges, but there are also sup- ply chain challenges, regulatory changes, and the all-important testing of the latest data or trends that we may have been reading about. The very best trade shows not only "show," but they teach as well. Permit me a little pride in IPC's Technical Program Com- mittee (TPC), the industry-driven committee that puts together the best technical and educational content for IPC APEX EXPO (yes, I am biased) of any trade event. The message here is that there is much to be gained from the next trade show, conference, or event near you. There are gains for you as an individual (skills, learnings, connections), as a company (customers, suppliers, know-how), and as an industry (understanding what is happening where). Take a second look at that event you have considered attending and see if it can't move you and your organization to a more sub- stantial position in the industry. Attending trade shows provides a great opportunity to gain indus- try knowledge and discover the latest trends. In addition, you can participate in educational semi- nars and networking events that are unique to trade shows. You'll have the chance to meet new peo- ple, explore potential business opportunities, learn more about what is happening in the industry, and have fun. Who wouldn't want a little more fun (along with the growth described above) in their life? We're currently gathered at IPC APEX EXPO 2025, but IPC hosts several other trade shows and conferences around the world. I hope to see you there.
