Soldering Partnerships for Success The IPC Education Foundation has benefited from Weller Tools' generous donations of equipment and tools over the past five years. These donations support students and educators in developing the necessary skills, especially hands-on soldering techniques. Most recently, Weller donated $5,000 worth of advanced solder- ing equipment to Stephen F. Austin State University to enrich engi- neering workshops that emphasize practical skills. I visited with Marcel Teller, senior director, global product manage- ment and R&D at Weller Tools, to learn more about the company and its values. Weller is proud to support Stephen F. Austin State Universi- ty's engineering department by donating state-of-the-art solder- ing equipment. This contribution underscores our commitment to advancing education and fostering the next generation of skilled professionals in the electronics manufacturing industry. By collaborating with the IPC Education Foundation and SFASU's IPC student chapter, we will be enhancing students' hands-on learn- ing experiences and equipping them with the critical soldering skills necessary for their future careers as engineers.
