Curtiss-Wright Selected by Rheinmetall to
Provide Turret Drive Stabilization System
for the KF51 Panther Main Battle Tank ⊲
Curtiss-Wright announced it has been selected by
Rheinmetall Landsysteme Germany (RLS) to provide
its modular turret drive stabilization system (TDSS)
technology in support of the KF51 Panther Main
Battle Tank (MBT). The KF51, a highly advanced
and capable main battle tank, is designed to meet
the demands of modern warfare. Curtiss-Wright's
highly precise, modular TDSS system is an ideal
match for these newly modernized platform
requirements. Work under this agreement will be
performed by Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions.

BAE Systems' Growing Partnership in
Norway ⊲
As two of Europe's leading defence companies,
BAE Systems and Kongsberg are already working
together in a number of areas to support militaries
across NATO and its wider group of allies. In May of
this year, the two organisations signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) looking to explore how to
deepen that relationship even further.
Alta Resource Technologies Advances to
Final Phase of DARPA's EMBER Program ⊲
Alta Resource Technologies announced its selection
as a primary collaborator in Phase 3 of the Defense
Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)'s
Environmental Microbes as a BioEngineering
Resource (EMBER) program. Led by scientists at
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL),
the team was chosen to advance to the final phase
of this multi-year effort to unlock new bioengineer-
ing solutions for national security applications.
Joby to Acquire Blade's Passenger Business,
Accelerating Air Taxi Commercialization ⊲
Joby Aviation, Inc., a company developing electric
air taxis for commercial passenger service, announced
it has entered into a definitive agreement with Blade
Air Mobility, Inc. to purchase Blade's leading urban
air mobility passenger business. Blade's Medical
division, which was not included in the transaction
and will remain a separate public company, is to
partner with Joby on medical transportation.
First Next-Gen GEO-Based Missile
Warning Satellite Successfully Completes
Environmental Testing, on Track for
Delivery to Space Force ⊲
The first of a new, more capable, more survivable
missile warning satellite, designed by Lockheed
Martin for today's highly contested space domain,
has successfully completed environmental testing.
The first Next-Generation Overhead Persistent
Infrared (Next-Gen OPIR) Geosynchronous Earth
Orbit (GEO) Block 0 missile warning satellite recently
completed thermal vacuum (TVAC) and acoustic
testing. Completion of both tests, performed at
Lockheed Martin Space's facility in Sunnyvale, Cali-
fornia, keeps the satellite on track for delivery.
Honeywell Advances Technology That
Lets Fighter Pilots Breathe Easier for
Peak Performance ⊲
Honeywell has developed and launched a new
technology that allows military pilots of high-per-
formance fighter jets to breathe easier under
extreme conditions. Honeywell's Connected
Breathing Regulator and Anti-G (cBRAG) technology
enhances breathing regulation to support pilots
who are subjected to high G-forces during periods
of high acceleration.
