This year, it returns as a proven destination for anyone seeking prac- tical knowledge, industry insights, and expert-led discussions right on the show floor. The Learning Lounge concept emerged in Octo- ber 2024 when I approached Alicia Balonek, senior director of events, about creating a dedicated space for sessions focused on education, training, workforce development, and technical challenges. With session rooms already fully booked for 2025, Balonek proposed something different: an inviting, branded stage area directly on the exhibit floor. The space featured modern high-top tables, comfort- able lounge-style seating, presenter screens, and room for panel discussions, all designed to create an intimate yet accessible learning environment. The inaugural year exceeded expectations. Sessions covering training effectiveness, ROI measurement, funding programs, and techni- cal topics drew enthusiastic crowds. "What Math is Required for 75% Hole Fill?" was one standout panel that became standing-room-only, with more than 80 attendees exploring the mathematical precision behind optimal hole-fill performance. The Learning Lounge quickly became a thing. Of course, the first year brought lessons. Initial challenges with the show floor background noise were solved when AV technicians repositioned and angled the speakers to create what organiz- ers describe as an ideal cocoon of sound, allowing
