Some experience with flying probe test equipment is preferred. A candidate would develop, and debug on our test systems and install in-circuit test sets remotely online or at customer's manufacturing loca- tions nationwide. • Proficient working knowledge of Flash/ISP program- ming, MAC Address and Boundary Scan required. The candidate would also help support production testing implementing Engineering Change Orders and program enhancements, library model genera- tion, perform testing and failure analysis of assem- bled boards, and other related tasks. Sr. Test Engineer (STE-MD) atg is seeking an Applications Engineer located in the Chicago area to join their U.S. team to support system installations, customer demos, and ongoing technical service. This role provides pre- and post-sales sup- port, oversees machine setup and calibration, and troubleshoots on-site and remote issues. You'll work closely with customers, engineering teams, and product developers to deliver innovative solutions and influence future system enhancements. Key Responsibilities: • Perform software installs, machine setup, and calibrations • Conduct demos, training, and system buyoffs • Develop and optimize customer assembly processes • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues • Document procedures and contribute to manuals • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve products Qualifications: • Associate's degree in electrical engineering or related field • 2–3 years in applications or field service engineering • Experience in PCB testing or circuit board assem- bly preferred • Strong knowledge of electronics, networking, and documentation • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to travel up to 50%, domestic and international Work is hybrid/home-based with travel.
