Saab to Acquire ThyssenKrupp, Inks MoU
thyssenKrupp industrial solutions ag, a subsidiary
of thyssenKrupp ag, and saab aB have signed a
non-binding memorandum of understanding con-
cerning the sale of the swedish shipyard thyssen-
Krupp marine systems aB (formerly named Koc-
kums) with operations in malmö, Karlskrona and
muskö to saab aB.
Celestica Earns Supplier Award
from Rockwell Collins
the company was presented with the 2014 assem-
blies supplier of the Year award from rockwell col-
lins during the recent annual supplier conference
held in cedar rapids, iowa. the award is an ac-
knowledgement of significant contributions made
during the year by suppliers and is based upon
quality, delivery, total cost of ownership, lead time,
and customer service.
Sypris' Electronics group:
16% Revenue Increase in Q1
the company reported revenue of $84.2 million
for the first quarter compared to $78.4 million for
the first quarter of 2013. revenue for the electron
-
ics group expanded 16%, to $8.4 million in the
first quarter, an increase of $1.1 million from $7.3
million in the comparable prior year quarter.
