Cadence Design systems has announced an ex-
panded Cadence sigrity technology portfolio with
the sigrity Parallel Computing 4-pack and the sig-
rity system explorer, an updated power-aware sys-
tem signal integrity (sI) feature, as well as flexible
purchasing options for PCB and IC package de-
sign and analysis. The sigrity technology portfolio
enables product creation efficiency by increasing
signoff-level PCB extraction accuracy.

PCB Drives EDA Industry's
Revenue growth in q3
The eDA Consortium (eDAC) Market statistics service
(Mss) announced that eDA industry revenue increased
5.7% for Q3 2014 to $1.8 billion, compared to $1.7
billion in Q3 2013. PCB & MCM revenue led the way,
with revenue of $167.4 million for Q3 2014, an in-
crease of 9.7% compared to Q3 2013. The four-quar-
ters moving average for PCB & MCM increased 11.4%.
