This month's cover art was inspired by some of the stories I've heard lately about compa- nies being forced into using flexible and rigid- flex circuits. This is happening for a variety of reasons: Sometimes rigid boards won't fit the shrinking enclosures anymore, or the company just needs a rugged, reliable circuit. Maybe it's a combination of these reasons. When no one in your company knows any- thing about flexible circuits, this move may sound like a daunting proposition, but you don't have to do it alone.
