This individual will support service for North America in printed circuit board drill/routing and x-ray inspec- tion equipment. Duties included: Installation, train- ing, maintenance, and repair. Must be able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in the field as well as calibrate products, perform modifi- cations and retrofits. Diagnose effec- tively with customer via telephone support. Assist in optimization of machine operations. A technical degree is preferred, along with strong verbal and written com- munication skills. Read and interpret schematics, collect data, write techni- cal reports. Valid driver's license is required, as well as a passport, and major credit card for travel. Must be able to travel extensively. Technical Service & Applications Engineer Full-Time — Flexible Location Koh Young Technology, founded in 2002 in Seoul, South Korea, is the world leader in 3D measurement- based inspection technology for electronics manufac- turing. Located in Duluth, GA, Koh Young America has been serving its partners since 2010 and is expand- ing the team with an Applications Engineer to provide helpdesk support by delivering guidance on operation, maintenance, and programming remotely or on-site. Responsibilities • Provide support, preventive and corrective maintenance, process audits, and related services • Train users on proper operation, maintenance, programming, and best practices • Recommend and oversee operational, process, or other performance improvements • Effectively troubleshoot and resolve machine, system, and process issues Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor's in a technical discipline, relevant Associate's, or equivalent vocational or military training • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing, robotics, PCB assembly, and/or AI; 2-4 years of experience • SPI/AOI programming, operation, and maintenance experience preferred • 75% domestic and international travel (valid U.S. or Canadian passport, required) • Able to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision • Able to readily understand and interpret detailed documents, drawings, and specifications Benefits • Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance with no employee premium (including dependent coverage) • 401K retirement plan • Generous PTO and paid holidays
