IPC COMMUNITY 12 WINTER 2024 What value does IPC membership provide to your company? We rely on industry reports and surveys. I consider IPC's industry reporting on growth, broken down by market segment and region, as unbelievably valuable back- ground information for our marketing efforts. That is a direct way that IPC helps our company succeed. What has been the biggest obstacle or challenge for your company? Our biggest obstacle has been finding people. COVID-19 cre- ated a dilemma in the sense that it disrupted the work- force. We had to step up our recruiting. People got used to working remotely, which does not work for many posi- tions in a manufacturing facility, so we had to find new ways to attract and keep good peo- ple. One way has been through IPC's educa- tional offerings. How has the electronics industry changed over the years and how do you keep pace? T h e t e c h n o l o g y h a s r a p i d l y increased in the past few years. Com- panies and customers need fabrica- tors that keep up and stay ahead of their needs. We strive to do this by investing in people, technology, and equipment. I believe it has worked out pretty well.
