IPC COMMUNITY 60 WINTER 2024 T he signature event for our industry in Europe in 2023 was productronica, and IPC was thrilled to exhibit at the Munich show and support our mem- bers across Europe. Our presence this year was threefold: • Host the Hand Soldering Competition World Finals • Showcase thought leaders and industry activities in the vital areas of connected factory exchange (CFX), sustainability, market research, wire harness technologies, design, and e-mobility • Provide valuable meeting space for our sponsors and partners to conduct business The show was a resounding success for the thousands of exhibitors who presented cut- ting-edge solutions in equipment, tools, com- ponents, and software across the four-day event. IPC was able to fulfill the goals aligned with our core mission to serve the industry across our main pillars of standards, educa- tion, advocacy, solutions, and industry intelli- gence. The World Finals in Hand Soldering boasted record participation from 16 countries: Thai- land, Vietnam, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Hungary, and Estonia.
