FEBRUARY 2026 I I-CONNECT007 MAGAZINE 121 Current skills include: • Datasheet parsing: Extracts and cites specs directly from component documentation • Net connectivity analysis: Traces signal paths and validates connections and config- urations • Component cross-referencing: Checks com- patibility between parts • EE analysis guidance: Applies hardware- specific review patterns Context, Not Training The most common question we get from engineer- ing teams evaluating AI tools for hardware is, "Are you training AI models on our designs?" No, we don't train models on your data. Instead, DRCY receives relevant context at review time. When analyzing your design, it's given: • Your schematic data and component informa- tion • Relevant datasheets for the parts you're using • Your team's design review checklists (if you've configured them) • Patterns from your past reviews Think of it like going to the library to research a problem. Instead of memorizing past con- text, DRCY pulls the references it needs, uses them, and leaves. Your IP stays your own and the Figure 2: Catch errors before respins, DRCY flags schematic issues automatically. AI agent gets exactly the data it needs to make informed reasoning. What's Coming? DRCY runs asynchronous design reviews, surfac- ing issues for your team to address. But the next evolution is an interactive review: Engineers can ask follow-up questions, explore alternatives, and dig deeper into why certain risks were flagged. We're also expanding the tool's specialized knowledge, with the goal of creating a more capa- ble reviewer over time by connecting additional data sources. The skill library will keep growing, with tighter integration into more automation capa- bilities. We believe that AI tools like this will help hard- ware teams change designs with confidence and make the right choice, not just the safe bet. They reduce uncertainty without slowing momentum, raise the quality bar without increasing headcount, and give engineers the freedom to innovate.
