"The second quarter was strong for Mentor and
we exceeded non-GAAP earnings guidance,"
said Gregory K. Hinckley, president. "A four per-
cent revenue upside to guidance, along with
continued attention to expense control, drove
an over 50 percent beat in earnings per share.
Automotive had an exceptional quarter, with re-
cord quarterly bookings three times the level of
last year."

Polar Unveils CITS
at PCB West
The company will preview its next-generation
CITS880s Controlled Impedance Test System at
PCB West 2014, September 10, in Santa Clara,
California. The system introduces launch Point ex-
trapolation, enabling PCB fabricators to improve
impedance control for the latest high-speed PCBs
which use finer trace widths and thinner copper
compared to conventional boards.
