IPC COMMUNITY 12 FALL 2023 Staying in business for 85 years is no mean feat. For Stark Electronics/Absolute Qual- ity Manufacturing, it's just another day as a leading electronics and wire harness distribu- tor. In 1938, Harry Stark established Stark Elec- tronics in Minneapolis as a distributor of electronic parts and equipment, including capacitors, resistors, vacuum tubes, and other radio components. In 1970, Stark added cable assemblies and other components to the business. In 1999, after listening to their cus- tomers' demands for custom wire harnesses, cable assemblies, panel builds, and enclosures, Stark created a separate company called Abso- lute Quality Manufacturing (AQ ). For 24 years, this company has been building complex wire harnesses and control panels for renewable energy, gas and oil, semiconductor, agricultural, automotive, and construction equipment.
