66 SMT007 MAGAZINE I FEBRUARY 2026 At APEX EXPO 2026, the Global Electronics Association East Asia team will promote engage- ment with global experts, industry partners, and member companies by participating in technical committee meetings and industry forums, and by organizing networking dinners and exhibitor visits. More than 40 companies from East Asia are expected to exhibit at this year's show, represent- ing Mainland China, Taiwan Region, Japan, and Korea. Regional leaders and core team members will focus on standards and technical exchange, exhibitor communication, and needs assessment, driving cross-regional information sharing and proj- ect collaboration. Mainland China: Trend Insights and Demand Alignment to Enable Service Deployment The Mainland China team will actively participate in several core conference activities and meet- ings, including keynote sessions, the Advanced Electronic Packaging Conference, sustainability- focused professional courses, and themed areas and projects such as the Design Village and Tech- nology Pavilion. In terms of content, the team will focus this year on three key areas: advanced electronic pack- aging, the Factory of the Future, and sustainabil- ity. Through participation in technical meetings delegations from key states that repre- sent the diversity and strength of Mexi- co's electronics ecosystem: • Guanajuato: Represented by the Secretariat of Economy and the Undersecretariat for Investment Attraction • Querétaro: Represented by the Secretariat of Sustainable Development • Sonora: Represented through Sonora Global, the state's international promotion organization Each state brings a different story, but all are part of the same national message. Different States, One Strong Electronics Ecosystem Guanajuato has become a major automotive and manufacturing hub in Mexico. Electronics is deeply connected to this growth, especially in automotive electronics, wiring systems, automation, and quality- driven processes. Its presence at APEX EXPO reflects industrial scale, supply chain strength, and readiness for global investment. Querétaro is widely known as a leading aero- space hub, where high-reliability manufacturing, engineering talent, and innovation come together. Electronics play a key role in this ecosystem, supporting industries that demand precision, stan- dards, and advanced technical skills. Sonora adds another important dimension. With its strategic loca- tion near the U.S. border and strong manufacturing base, Sonora is a natu- ral bridge between Mexico and North America. Through Sonora Global, the state focuses on international collabo- ration, advanced manufacturing, and global competitiveness. One Country, One Message What makes the Mexico Pavilion special is not just who is there, but how Mexico shows up. States, companies, and institutions are working together as one ecosystem. Mexico is not competing inter- nally, but moving forward together, aligned around standards, talent, and collaboration. Why APEX EXPO Matters to Us For Global Electronics Association Mexico, APEX EXPO 2026 is a space to connect, to learn, and to build long-term relationships. It is where conversa- tions turn into partnerships, and where Mexico can continue to position itself as a trusted and capable player in the global electronics industry. Most of all, it is an opportunity to show that Mexi- co's strength comes from its people, its regions, and its ability to work together. Visit us at booths #3542–3547. Let's connect and keep the conversation going.
