Isola Launches Low-loss Laminate for
100 GB Ethernet Apps
I-Connect007 Technical Editor Pete Starkey and
Isola's Fred Hickman, senior director of high-speed
digital products, spent time at IPC APEX EXPO
2015 talking about Isola's recent launch of a low-
loss, low-skew laminate prepreg. Hickman explains
that the new material, Chronon, will be one of the
enablers of 100GB Ethernet applications.

Amitron Earns UL Certification for
Aismalibar IMS Materials
Amitron Corporation has received their UL listing
for Aismalibar's full range of insulated metal sub-
strate materials. The certification allows Amitron
to UL stamp their products using the entire line
of Aismalibar materials which includes ALCUP-G
1.3w, ALCUP 1.8w, HTC 2.2w, HTC 3.2w, HTC Ul-
trathin and Flextherm.
Royal Circuits Acquires Second Maskless
LDI Machine
Milan Shah, president and owner of Royal Cir-
cuits Solutions announced that his company has
recently acquired their second Maskless Lithog-
raphy direct imaging machine. Royal is one of
the first PCB fabricators to own two of these
units.
