58 PCB007 MAGAZINE I MARCH 2022 difference in enthalpy behavior between these resin composites (Figures 3 and 4). Conclusion e data indicates that these resin structures can sustain up to ten (10) sequential lamina- tion cycles with no significant tan delta drop. DMA shi data had no significant changes aer two sequential lamination cycles. How- ever, T2Sp gradually formed a t wo - digit shift after six lamination cycles, whereas T2A and T4N maintained single-digit shis all the way up to 10 lamination cycles. T2Sp and T2A are both high Tg, halogen-free resin composite systems, while T4N is a brominated resin composite system. By knowing the surface and interface phenom- enon in polymer interface/interphase multi- phase systems, the tan delta quantifies the way in which a material absorbs and disperses energy. us, the tan delta is ultimately an indicator of a material's capabilities and effectiveness.
