Mitchell, Fire Your Hiring Habits W hen I set out to write my new book, Fire Your Hiring Habits, I was intrigued by news of the "great resignation," a time when many people left their jobs in search of something more mean- ingful. Because I had spent so many years hiring, training, and retaining employees in the electronics industry, I saw this trend as something positive, innovative, and closely aligned with opportunity and growth.
