JANUARY 2024 I SMT007 MAGAZINE 51 for the 200 μm pads are accurate and precise enough to fill up the pads properly. Addition- ally, the reported method facilitates the possi- bility of repairing several components at a time without the need for expert personnel. ese improvements can help to reduce the eco- nomic barriers to repairing existing products. e reliability of the repaired products was not part of this study; analysis regarding the new life span, ability to cope with harsh environ- ments, etc., shall be made at the product level. Conclusions Due to the current amount of electrical waste, the issue with counterfeit components, or simply due to device enhancement, replac- ing electrical components is an increasing necessity. Replacing components, especially those with fine pitches, is complicated and not always economically attractive due to the num- ber of manual processes related to this task. is work demonstrates that is possible to remarkably improve the throughput of solder deposition on populated PCBs, this method can be used for different solder paste alloys. Even components with pads as small as 200 μm can be repaired with the proposed method. anks to special jetting tooling and the use of a state-of-the-art equipment, collisions with neighboring components are easily avoided. ese new features reduce the repair cost, mak- ing it more attractive to the industry. Trade shows are an investment of valuable resources: time, money, people, travel, and training. Trade shows take much effort, and every exhibitor's goal is to get the greatest return on investment, which translates into closing sales. Trade show success begins long before the doors open, and pre-show marketing is a critical element to maximize your ROI. Being at the show and hav- ing products ready to present is just part of the ROI equa- tion. The other is making your booth a destination so mag- netic that prospects arrive at the event with a plan to seek you out, ready to do business.
