74 PCB007 MAGAZINE I FEBRUARY 2025 Standards Out in Front at IPC APEX EXPO Feature Article by Teresa Rowe IPC Standards development task groups will once again meet during IPC APEX EXPO 2025. is is an opportunity for subject mat- ter experts from around the world to gather and discuss requirements and guidance doc- uments for the electronics industry. During these meetings, attendees will hear discussions on topics that include supply chain, Factory of the Future, printed boards, materials, assem- blies, and coatings. Standards development task groups will meet March 15–20. Technical discussions will allow attendees to share knowledge, learn from and network with others also interested in technol- ogy. As in years past, you will find many meet- ings occurring at the same time, with some of them on new topics. Staff liaisons are busy preparing for the meetings. Updating documentation, gather- ing comments, and meeting with leaders to
