Discussions with leaders help to scope a meeting agenda and keep the group focused during the valuable time set aside for a face- to-face meeting. is provides the best experi- ence for everyone at the table. In some cases, task groups will be discussing assigned action items and the input gathered from the A-Team or assigned task group mem- bers. ese will be presented, and the content discussed for possible inclusion or update to existing documents. If you have not attended a standards devel- opment meeting, we encourage you to take the time to see what happens at one of these meetings. It's a chance to meet others and have your voice heard in developing requirements that drive our industry. If, by chance, you or anyone planning to attend finds that there is a conflict between two or more standards development task group meetings, the meeting minutes published aer a meeting can serve as a means to remain cur- rent with an activity. e key is to be a member of the task group and follow the progress.
