aviation, space, or defense programs reviews a
new PCB fabricator, one of the first checkpoints is
simple: Is the AS9100D certificate current? That is

space environments, configuration control, trace-
ability, corrective action, and internal audit disci-
pline are not optional.
Defense Speak Interpreted: Will Defense
Become a Totally New Supplier for Drone
Electronics? ⊲

research confirmed what I already knew from my
own experience as a subcontractor to the Naval
Surface Warfare Center Crane in Indiana.
