IPC APEX EXPO 2023 SHOW & TELL MAGAZINE event was supported by IPC members and partners such as TTM Technologies, Magic Ray, Altium, CAES, Weller, Mycronic, Google, and I-Connect007—all instrumental in pulling it together through donations of equipment, participation of trainers and exhibitors, and/ or generous sponsorships. It's a rewarding outreach event for all of us and we eagerly anticipate the reaction the kids have to the event. We enjoy answering their insightful questions about the electronics manufactur- ing industry. Attendees had opportunities to ask ques- tions during keynote sessions with mechani- cal and aerospace engineer turned science TV host Emily Calandrelli, who covered space exploration. IPC's chief economist Shawn DuBravac captured our attention with pre- views of new technologies defining the future of electronics. I also enjoyed answering ques- tions during my keynote, which focused on the workforce challenges in our industry. As I walked the show floor and attended vari- ous committee meetings and other events, I received positive feedback from attendees who were enthusiastic about the educational offerings, committee members who rolled up their sleeves and collaborated with their peers and colleagues on dozens of industry standards, speakers who were eager to share their knowledge and expertise, and exhibi- tors who were thrilled at showcasing their products and services to a once-again lively and highly trafficked show floor. IPC APEX EXPO is a gathering place for the present and future of electronics, enabling all of us to connect in remarkable ways. We at IPC are profoundly grateful to an industry that has encouraged and supported us in pro- ducing this event. We never lose sight of the fact that we could not host this event without the dedicated volunteers who share their time, expertise, and enthusiasm with all of us. Though IPC APEX EXPO 2023 is in our rear- view mirror, our dedicated teams in events, education, technical, membership, and marketing and sales are already preparing for next year's event, scheduled for April 6-11, 2024 in Anaheim, California.
