IPC Community fresh off the presses. IPC just published the inaugural issue of its new magazine, IPC Commu- nity. Great content beau- tifully presented. It was wonderful to see the glossy magazine in the hands of so many IPC APEX EXPO attendees. These are just 10 of my many highlights this year. I could easily have written another 10, including props to IPC's own Teresa Rowe for her induction into IPC's Hall of Fame and to Zentech and AT&S, which each took home a Corpo- rate Recognition Award, among the many other award winners. Finally, let's not forget the announcement of two new IPC board members: Flex Executive Vice Presi- dent Paul Baldassari and Calumet CTO Meredith LaBeau. IPC APEX EXPO is an annual reminder that we are not just an industry—we are a commu- nity. It was wonderful to be with our commu- nity again this year. See you in Anaheim in 2024. Why are you here working in a committee on a Saturday? It's about unified consensus amongst all of us. It is invalu- able for us to all be in the same place at the same time physically, putting our heads together. We're able to put information up on the screen in front of us and reach a decision. It's a valuable process and I'm happy to be a part of it. So that's why I'm here. Why is getting face-to-face like this the most effective way to do this work? I think it's being able to put names to faces, especially nowadays. Everything is digital communication The interpersonal relation- ships that you make here, allow you to extend, throughout the years, throughout your career, the points of contact in the industry that are valuable.
