IPC APEX EXPO 2023 SHOW & TELL MAGAZINE The Goldman-Kessler Award was named for IPC Hall of Famers who were longtime and significant committee leaders, Patty Gold- man and Bernie Kessler. Nominees for the Goldman-Kessler Award were: • Scott Bowles, Lockheed Martin Corporation • Robert Cooke, NASA's Johnson Space Center • Constantino Gonzalez, ACME Training & Consulting • Thomas Marktscheffel, ASMPT • Victor Xu, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. All nominations for 2022 were kept secret until a few days before the presentation when the nominees and nominators were invited to the awards luncheon; the winners remained secret until the awards presentation—even IPC President John Mitchell did not know who won until he opened the envelopes and read the names. Committee Leader of the Year, Goldman-Kessler Award Bob Cooke, NASA Johnson Space Center Criteria: • Open and fair in comment resolution • Inspired others to work collaboratively and creatively • Encouraged participation and mentored others, including international participants and new attendees • Conducted group activities with consistency in attendance and participation • Demonstrated a professional attitude while leading the group • Participated actively on the project A-Team for the group • Made standards development activities fun • Provided examples of how the leader went above and beyond to get the job done • Provide examples of how the leader was schedule- and results-driven Dave Hillman
