chief economist, to provide an update with
a high level global economic outlook. As
you might expect, the seas have been a bit
turbulent in the aftermath of the pandemic.

The Department of
Defense announced an
award of $46.2 million
to GreenSource Fabrica-
tion LLC (GreenSource)
via the Defense Produc-
tion Act Investment (DPAI)
Program. The award will enhance existing pro-
duction capabilities at a manufacturing facil-
ity of state-of-the-art integrated circuits (IC)
substrate, high-density interconnect (HDI) and
ultra-high-density interconnect (UHDI), and
advanced packaging.
As we all recall, COVID-19 nearly crippled the electronics supply chain.
Many critical chips had multi-year lead times. When we finally thought
things were getting back to normal, now we have two hot wars: one in
Eastern Europe and now one in the Middle East.
