IPC COMMUNITY 78 SUMMER 2024 SUSTAINABILITY "The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it." – Robert Swan I first met Barjouth Aguilar in March 2024 at Women's IPC Day in Ciudad Juarez, Chihua- hua, Mexico, an event organized within the framework of International Women's Day, when she participated in a panel meant to inspire attendants to learn more about the role of women in the electronics industry. Barjouth, a fellow Mex- ican, has become a woman I admire and respect. That introduction led to a personal interview with Barjouth. As we talked, I was impressed by her personality, professionalism, and frank and straightforward style. She spoke about her pro- fessional journey, the importance of sustainabil- ity, and the challenges that a professional woman faces in our industry in Mexico and the world.
