IPC COMMUNITY 58 SUMMER 2024 Championing sustainability for electronics is a key initiative for IPC, and efforts can be seen in our white papers, exploratory studies, a sustain- ability leadership council, and advocacy with policymakers in Washington, D.C., and the Euro- pean Union. New Eyes on Sustainability Nowhere were these efforts more evident than at IPC APEX EXPO 2024, where the strides we've made in sustainability for electronics were seen throughout the show. This was the first year, for example, that there was an official sus- tainability track within the Technical Conference.
