Remtec is growing and has an exciting opportunity at our dynamic, team-oriented tech-manufacturing company, based in our newly renovated headquarters in Canton, MA, just south of Boston. The Senior Thick Film & Microelectronics Quality Engineer ensures product quality and AS9100 compli- ance across thick film fabrication and microelectron- ics assembly, including printing, firing, laser trimming, plating, wire bonding, soldering, assembly, testing, and inspection. Responsibilities include: • managing nonconforming materials • leading root cause investigations • conducting audits • developing control plans, PFMEAs, and inspection procedures to ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met The role partners with production and suppliers to es- tablish quality standards and improve supplier perfor- mance and yield, reduce waste, and support continu- ous improvement overall. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engi- neering or a related technical discipline, at least three years of quality engineering experience in microelec- tronics, semiconductor, or PCB manufacturing, and hands-on knowledge of thick film processes, quality systems, and problem-solving. Preferred skills include AS9100/ISO 9001 systems; nickel, gold, and silver plating and surface finishes; GEA and MIL testing and inspection standards; and statistical software.
