Our teacher told my class about it, which is the second year of engineering, and he told us that it would be a great opportunity to learn more about the ways of engineering, especially if you want to major and have a career with it. I came because I got a major in engineering, so I wanted to learn more about it. Do you know why you're interested? What got you started? I decided to take the class for SAT credit, and then last year, that's when I took the first class. And then it just grew on me, and I decided that I like to make things and build stuff, so I wanted to pursue a career in it. What one of the careers do you want to actually pursue, or why do you want to pursue biomedical? Is it your parents that wanted you to do that? No, actually, I first got into it because my sister is deaf, so she has cochlear implants, and I was interested in how it works because they had to implant this device in her head. When it's used right, she has the ability to hear things, so I'm interested to see how that works, and biomedical engineering makes it happen.
