U.S. Navy Work Around Columbia Class

Gecko Robotics, the company pioneering the
use of AI and robotics to change how organi-
zations build, operate and maintain their most
critical infrastructure, announced an expansion
of its work with the U.S. Navy's surface fleet and
the continued growth of its partnership with
the Columbia-class submarine program. e
Navy has increased the use of Gecko on sur-
face ships by 400% in 2024 and has expanded its
scope to include aircra carriers, with the first
vessel scheduled for this fall.

by NUVIEW to Develop Pathfinder
Satellite Bus for Its Space-Based LiDAR
Constellation E
Space Flight Laboratory (SFL) has been cho-
sen by NUVIEW, a space-technology com-
pany specializing in 3D Earth imaging, to
develop the bus for Mr. SPoC, its pathfinder
small satellite that will demonstrate the capa-
bilities of the world's first commercial space-
based LiDAR constellation. Based in Orlando,
Florida, NUVIEW is building a ground-break-
ing constellation of satellites that will provide
continually updated 3D elevation data for the
entire Earth's land surface using the company's
onboard laser scanning technology known as
LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging).
NASA Awards Intuitive Machines Lunar
South Pole Research Delivery E
A new set of NASA science experiments and
technology demonstrations will arrive at the
lunar South Pole in 2027 following the agen-
cy's latest CLPS (Commercial Lunar Pay-
load Services) initiative delivery award. Intu-
itive Machines of Houston will receive $116.9
million to deliver six NASA payloads to a
part of the Moon where nighttime tempera-
tures are frigid, the terrain is rugged, and the
permanently shadowed regions could help
reveal the origin of water throughout our solar
system.

ing (MoU) to identify and develop opportuni-
