IPC COMMUNITY 74 FALL 2024 Malaysia CEO Meet and Greet A highlight of Day 1 was the CEO Meet and Greet reception, where presidents and secretar- ies of various associations gathered for an exclu- sive networking session. Hosted by IPC President and CEO Dr. John W. Mitchell, the reception provided an opportunity for industry leaders to discuss current trends and IPC's advanced packaging initiatives. This gathering promoted collaboration among key figures in the electron- ics manufacturing sector, making it a standout moment for IEMI Malaysia. Day 2 Inaugural Session In Mitchell's presentation, "What's New in Technology: Microtrends Determining Electron- ics' Future," he emphasized several microtrends affecting the electronics industry: the wide- spread use of computers, Smart technology, datafication, artificial intelligence, digital twin, 3D printing, nanotechnology, and new energy solutions. These trends have opened a world of opportunities for the electronics industry, and IPC is committed to creating an environment that embraces these trends and enables mem- bers to stay ahead of the competition through innovation and growth.
