We also launched the J-STD-001HS training program, expanding support for high-reliability sectors. Finally, we collaborated with Ming Chi University of Tech- nology to provide EME training and IPC-A-610 certifica- tion courses to students. EMMT Systems Corporation completed the audit and is now on the QML. We celebrated the opening of our new Taiwan office and held a CIT meeting with regional trainers and partners. On May 16, we hosted the 2025 IPC Taiwan Leaders Network- ing Luncheon in Taipei, with nearly 60 representatives from government agencies, industry associations, and leading companies. We signed strategic MoUs with the Tai- wan Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA) and the Institute for Information Industry (III), and another with the Taiwan Printed Circuit Association (TPCA). These will strengthen regional cooperation and accelerate the electronics industry's digital and sustain- able transformation. Japan We completed the translations of key IPC standards for automotive applications, press-fit standards, and printed board handling and storage. We conducted training sessions for IPC-A-610, IPC-J- STD-001, and IPC-7711/21, as well as IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS (Certified IPC Specialist) programs, all supporting work- force skill advancement. An initial QML audit was conducted at Oita Canon, marking a step toward expanded IPC validation presence in Japan. Some events in Japan included: We showcased IPC stan- dards at MedTec Japan 2025, promoting their application in medical electronics. On April 23, the IPC Works Asia Technical Webinar had over 200 attendees; representa- tives from Toyota Motor Corporation and Tokai Rika gave presentations. We hosted a well-received technical sem- inar at NEPCON Kansai, with 150 participants. On May 21, the Q2 Executive Policy Roundtable was held in Tokyo, facilitating policy dialogue with local industry leaders. Korea The Regional Task Group—South Korea (7-31B-KR) appointed LG Energy Solution as the new co-vice chair, further strengthening industry leadership in standards development. On April 2-4, we hosted a booth at the Smart SMT and PCB Assembly (SSPA) show in Korea. During the exhibition, a seminar on "Interpreting the Revisions of IPC-A-610J and J-STD-001J" had 40 attendees. We hosted the sixth meeting of the Second IPC Korea Advisory Committee, and we participated in Nepcon Korea/EMK (Electronics Manufacturing Korea), April 16–18, with a dedicated booth. Looking Ahead In Q3, we will be hosting IPC Works— Asia events in Taiwan and Japan. Our annual IPC China Electronics Manufacturing Annual Conference (CEMAC) takes place in September in Shanghai. This event brings together experts from government, industry, and academia to explore the latest developments and opportunities in electronics manufacturing across China. We're hosting another Executive Policy Roundtable in Tokyo, and will support activities of the Global Elec- tronics Association in Korea, includ- ing the De Facto Standard Forum, which sponsors two engineers to participate in the IPC Builds event in September.
