In April and May, we organized CIT Club events in Dong- guan (April 19), Suzhou (April 26), Shanghai (May 17), and Zhuhai (May 24). Approximately 100 Certified IPC Trainers (CITs) participated in these events. Taiwan On May 2, we hosted the IPC-CFX Connected Factory Exchange Seminar in Taiwan to promote the adoption of IPC-2591 Connected Factory Exchange (CFX) and advance Qualified Product List (QPL) projects. On March 26, a tech- nical session on the "Interpretation of Version Differences in IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-7711/21" helped partici- pants better understand revisions and application scenar- ios of these widely used standards. China The Global Electronics Association—China has released new translated standards on printed board design, sol- dering fluxes, press-fit standards, and space and military avionics. On March 28, we activated the regional task groups for IPC-A-610-CN and IPC-J-STD-001J-CN, and had the first joint meeting at ZTE Shanghai R&D Center. In April and May, we collaborated with Foxconn Group through a series of ESG-focused engagements. At Fox- conn's annual ESG award ceremony and forum on April 11, Sydney Xiao, president of IPC East Asia, highlighted the strong partnership between the two organizations, while Peter Zhou, our lead sustainability expert in China, introduced IPC-1401 and its role in supporting ESG strategy upgrades. On May 9, Peter was invited to lead an ESG workshop, where he shared practical guidance on addressing ESG implementation challenges using the IPC-1401 framework. With the additions of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Sichuan Research Institute and Chongqing University of Science and Technology, we now have seven educational partners. These institutions help promote our certifica- tion training and workforce development programs. Also, two new companies were added to the Qualified Manufac- turers List (QML): Shanghai Quickturn Electronics Co., Ltd. and Hangzhi Machinery & Electronics Company Limited. On April 24, we hosted the IPC WorksAsia Standards Technical Seminar and Member Appreciation Dinner in Shenzhen, with 150 attending to participate in discussions on emerging technical challenges and IPC standards. We East Asia Our East Asia team is building momentum in standards, certification, education, validation, and events. Here are just a few items to note in some regions we represent.
