IPC Partners With ETP in California Under the Employment Training Panel (ETP) program, California employees will receive significant financial support for customized job skills training, reducing costs and enhancing workforce compe- tencies in today's challenging market. IPC will receive reimbursements from ETP for training expenses, cutting or eliminating training costs. New Website for Mexico IPC relaunched its IPC Mexico website, designed to serve the needs of the electron- ics manufacturing industry in Mexico and for Spanish-speaking professionals worldwide. The website provides comprehensive resources and support where users can find detailed informa- tion on IPC training courses, certifications, and standards. It was developed to meet the Mexican market's unique needs and preferences and sup- port the growth and development of the elec- tronics manufacturing community in Mexico and Spanish-speaking regions globally. Reminder: The IPC White Paper, "Building Electronics Better: A Plan to Address the Work- force Challenges Facing the Electronics Manu- facturing Industry," targets both the immediate labor market needs and the long-term sustain- ability and growth of the industry by building a skilled, adaptable, and motivated workforce. They are all based in the Munich area and in pivotal roles as we continue expanding our community outreach and collab- oratively serve the electronics manufacturing industry. During Q4 2024 and Q1 2025, our team looks forward to engaging our European members at several significant industry events: • Estonia Hand Soldering Competition (Octo- ber): The winner of this event will compete at the World Finals in Munich, Nov. 14-15. • IPC Day Turkey (October): We will present IPC's initiatives supporting design and sili- con to systems. • IPC Day Italy (October): We will present IPC's current and future standards development projects supporting automotive electronics.
