Airbus Signs Contract to Equip German Air Force A400Ms with Infrared Protection Systems u Airbus has been awarded a contract from the German procurement agency Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) to equip 23 Lu- waffe A400Ms with DIRCM protection systems. DIRCM stands for 'Directed Infrared Counter Measures' and will protect the military trans- port aircra from missiles with infrared seekers. RTX's Raytheon Awarded $536 Million US Navy Contract for SPY-6 Family of Radars u Raytheon, an RTX business, has been awarded a $536 million contract from the U.S. Navy for the SPY-6 family of radars. e contract is a follow-on from the previously awarded Inte- gration and Production Support contract and includes upgrading Flight IIA destroyers with the SPY-6(V)4 variant. BAE Systems Unveils Comprehensive Line of M-Code GPS Receivers at Joint Naviga- tion Conference u BAE Systems unveiled a diverse line of M-Code Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver solutions during the June 2025 Joint Naviga- tion Conference in Cincinnati, rounding out an extensive line of products that ensure U.S. warfighters have the most dependable GPS systems available across sea, land, and air. SES's O3b mPOWER System Receives Plat- inum Space Sustainability Rating u O3b mPOWER, SES's second-generation medium earth orbit (MEO) system, has been awarded the Platinum badge by the Space Sus- tainability Rating (SSR) Association. is is the highest possible SSR rating tier and has been awarded to the O3b mPOWER constel- lation of 13 high-throughput and low-latency satellites, eight of which are already in orbit. Rolls-Royce to Provide Power, Handling Sys- tem for Canadian River-class Destroyers u Rolls-Royce has reached an agreement on a significant scope of work to support Batch One of the River-class destroyer (RCD) program for the Royal Canadian Navy. e RCD (for- merly named the Canadian Surface Combat- ant) is part of Canada's National Shipbuilding Strategy and is the largest and most complex shipbuilding initiative undertaken by Canada since World War II. It achieved signal acquisi- tion shortly thereaer.
