IPC COMMUNITY 89 SPRING 2025 the adoption and implementation of IPC-CFX by equipment manufac- turers in the EAS industrial supply chain, enhancing interoperability among equipment. Delta and IPC's Deep Collaboration Delta Electronics has been col- laborating with IPC since 2023, actively participating in the devel- opment and promotion of the IPC-CFX standard. This partnership stemmed from Delta's urgent need to enhance production efficiency and transparency. Leveraging the IPC-CFX, Delta achieved a compre- hensive upgrade to smart manu- facturing. On this foundation, Delta successfully built the Asia-Pacific region's first IPC-CFX demonstra- tion production line, positioning itself as a pioneer in the industry's digital transformation. IPC-CFX Powers Delta's Digital Leap With IPC's technical support, Del- ta's Wujiang Plant 3 C02 electronics assembly line achieved compre- hensive implementation of the IPC- CFX, delivering remarkable results: • Real-time data exchange: Event reporting latency was reduced to milliseconds, increasing response speed to anomalies and improving production trans- parency. • Improved equipment efficiency: Overall efficiency increased by 20%, with hourly production capacity rising by 33%. • Data-driven management: Enabled end-to-end production data visualization, allowing man- agers to monitor production in real-time, preemptively address fluctuations, and minimize manual interventions. Delta and IPC Set Industry Benchmarks At the 2024 IPC China Electron- ics Manufacturing Annual Confer- ence (CEMAC), Delta received the IPC Asia Excellence Leadership Award. "Since 2023, Delta has collaborated deeply with IPC and actively participated in the devel- opment of the IPC-CFX standard," said Guangpo Wang, global chief manufacturing digital officer, while accepting the award. "At Delta's Wujiang Plant 3 C02 electronics assembly line, IoT networks inte- grate production data, transform- ing traditional production models. Each device becomes an intelligent node, engaging in real-time data exchange for self-optimization and collaborative operations. This achieves end-to-end production line data visualization, automated optimization, and intelligent deci- sion-making, enabling managers to monitor production data, assess line performance, anticipate fluctuations, and eliminate sig- nificant manual intervention and guesswork associated with tradi- tional methods. This ensures stable operations across all production stages, making it a model for modern digital factories and accelerating the advancement of Industry 4.0." The Delta IPC-CFX demo line.
