Generally, it takes three days for road transportation using the Green Pass, while air transportation takes 1.5 hours and arrives on the same day. In the PCB industry, outsourcing certain processes has become standard. However, there is no such thing in Vietnam. As for the few subcontractor companies that exist, they are very expensive and not very professional. Also, domestic logistics costs are quite expen- sive. Inorsen has been operating a factory in Vietnam since 2019, and we have overcome many challenges such as recruiting, retrain- ing, the COVID pandemic, equipment, and technology. I am happy to say that today, we are where we wanted to be. What is the local Vietnamese workforce like? We don't have any shortages hiring employ- ees in Phu o Province. Most have univer- sity educations and are young and dedicated. Because Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese companies have been operating in Vietnam for many years, the quality of their employ- ees has been greatly improved, and we are benefiting from it. Language is very impor- tant, particularly in international companies serving global customers. e advantages in northern Vietnam are that we can easily find Vietnamese colleagues who speak Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. Have you encountered any cultural differ- ences with the Vietnamese workforce? Vietnam and China share a land border, and therefore have some similarities in culture. Vietnam is in a period of reform and opening up, with rapid economic development, sta- ble social security, abundant products, and people living and working in peace and con- tentment. e happiness index ranks among the top in Asia. As long as we respect each other's culture and customs and don't violate the bottom line, contradictions and conflicts do not typically arise. What is the biggest problem faced by Chinese companies in Vietnam with regard to produc- tion, R&D, sales, HR, or general management? Once a company has a functioning man- agement system, there should be few prob- lems. Our Vietnamese factory has adopted the complete systems of our Chinese plants.
