Michael passed away on Jan. 27, 2024. The Hall of Fame Award is given to individuals in recognition of the highest level of achievement, extraordinary contributions, and distinguished service to IPC and toward the advancement of the industry, including help- ing to create a spirit of mutual esteem, respect, and recogni- tion among members consistent with the goals and mission of the IPC. This is the highest level of recognition that IPC can give to an individual and is based on exceptional merit over the long term. Michael was a revered indus- try veteran. At the time of his death, he was working as the senior director for emerging industry strategy at Aegis Software.
