IPC APEX EXPO 2024 SHOW & TELL MAGAZINE by Michelle Te • I-Connect007 IPC Emerging Engineers gathered on Sat- urday evening at IPC APEX EXPO to get to know one another and learn about their assignments during the weeklong show. Tyler Wilson is a student engineer and certi- fied IPC trainer working at Kearfott Corpo- ration. He studied electronics engineering at Ashville Community College. Krystal Li is a third-year student earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineer- ing. "I'm having a really good time here," Li said. "IPC gives you that opportunity to make connections, talk to people, and increase your experience database." Kohl Titzler is a materials and process engi- neer at Northrup Grumman. He enjoys his work because he gets to use IPC standards every day. "There's always something new in my work," he says. "I love to solve things— like all engineers—and there's always some- thing new." Christina Rutherford of Lockheed Martin men- tors many of the Emerging Engineers who attended the reception. "It's a good change of pace to be working with them," Rutherford said. "They're either early industry or they're in college, and I'm often getting a reality check."
